ADEDU Handbook for trainers: making the most of the ADEDU training course
2026-06-05ADEDU project ran a series of 10 webinars to raise awareness on how digital education for adult learners can be made inclusive. Through these webinars we showcased the ADEDU course for teachers, adult educators and trainers and educators in the field of special education, psychology, and pedagogy and every other stakeholder that want to enhance their knowledge on inclusive digital education.
Our speakers ranged from educators to researchers to policy makers. Therefore, we also learnt different digital tools and reports that already exist and can help teachers make their digital classrooms accessible.
We started the series with a UNICEF report, “The use of Assistive Technology in Education: A Guide for Teachers and Schools” and ended with a UNESCO’s recent study, 'Use of AI and ICT to Support Inclusion of Learners with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties: From Innovation to Inclusion'. These two reports showed evolution of digital tools from 2025 to 2026 alongside gaps that educators still face.
We learnt about different tools like:
- Digital Inclusion Index to assesses the accessibility of a digital product (website, platform etc)
- TooTooT mobile app and application to address conflicts in a classroom.
- Somos digital's banking app to improve inclusion in digital banking services.
- Course on upskilling librarians by ANBPR
